Swiss CNC Machinist Setup/Operator ~ 2nd Shift

Compensation: $15 – $35 per hour – based on experience
Employment Type: full-time 2nd Shift

Clearshot Manufacturing is seeking an experienced, quality oriented Swiss CNC machinist to setup and operate our Citizen Swiss Machines. Candidate should be quality conscious and have sound decision making abilities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Set up and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines to run according to production schedule in order to meet customer requirements
  • Understand blueprints, dimensions and tolerances of finished parts
  • Set up and install tools to follow established machining process
  • Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls
  • Audit first piece samples of production (when required)
  • Completes daily quality documentation such as routers and tags
  • Complete statistical process control (SPC) charts (when required)
  • Will be required to run multiple pieces of equipment at one time per supervisor request or production needs

Qualifications

  • 3 years or more of CNC lathe or milling machine experience
  • Use and knowledge of inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages and comparators
  • Working knowledge of CNC equipment
  • Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for the duration of a shift
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to work weekends/overtime as needed.

Shift:
Monday – Thursday – 2pm – Midnight – 40 hours
